SCISSOR WING TRANSPORT
The Scissor Wing Transport has been reissued by Estes after
being out of production for many years. The current model has an eye towards
streamlining the build resulting in a more reliable glide recovery vehicle.
When the ejection charge fires on the nearly 24" tall model, the booster
pod drops away releasing a spring mechanism which pivots the 16" wing
into the position of an airplane so the SWT can glide back to the ground.
